Our story
Two decades of leading gastroenterology care
Chatswood Endoscopy was established more than 20 years ago with a simple ambition: to bring outstanding, specialist gastroenterology care to the people of Sydney's North Shore and Northern Beaches. From those early days we have grown into one of the region's most trusted practices.
In that time we have cared for many thousands of patients — from routine bowel cancer screening to the investigation and management of complex digestive conditions. Yet as we've grown, one thing has never changed: the personal touch that our patients and referring GPs have come to rely on.
We believe world-class medicine and genuine warmth belong together. That's why every procedure at our practice is performed personally by a consultant gastroenterologist — never delegated — so you are cared for by an expert from your first consultation to your final result.

We know that being referred for an endoscopic procedure can feel daunting. Our whole approach is built to take that worry away — by treating you as a person, not a case number.
From the moment you contact us, we take the time to explain things in plain language, free of confusing jargon. Consultations are unhurried: your specialist will listen carefully, answer every question, and make sure you understand what's happening and why.
We also believe there should be no surprises. Costs are made clear up front, with Medicare rebates and any out-of-pocket fees explained before your appointment — so you can focus on your health, not the paperwork.
And because your care doesn't end when you leave, we maintain close communication with your GP, reporting back promptly after every procedure so your ongoing care continues seamlessly.
